Tibet Airlines has opened a route between Jinan and Helsinki

Helsinki Airport’s initially Chinese airline company Tibet Airlines opened a new route from Jinan, China, to Helsinki Finland on 8th April. The new route was celebrated at Helsinki Airport with the inaugural flight landed. The route is operated with Airbus A330 wide-bodied aircraft twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

“Just a few moments ago we witnessed the landing of the historical initially flight from Jinan to Helsinki. Tibet Airlines is the initially Chinese airline commencing flights to Finland and we see thriving business opportunities for Chinese and Finnish businesses and unforeseen experiences for the Chinese and Finnish travellers.” says Kimmo Mäki, CEO at Finavia.

“Since via Vantaa it is greatest route linking Europe and Asia, supervise over flight linking our cities has been our mutual goal for nearly three being now. And today we are celebrating new connection linking our cities. This flight route is making us neighbours, just link of hours apart.” said Ritva Viljanen, Mayor, City of Vantaa.
